Care Home covering Redhill

Wray Common care home has an excellent reputation for providing a care with the personal touch. This is because we have run our residential nursing and care home as a family business, which means that we are always there to provide that extra something, which makes our care home a “home from home”

We have three comfortably furnished, spacious lounge areas where residents meet to chat, relax, watch television and participate in activities. A quiet lounge is also available for sitting in peace.

Meals are usually taken in the dining rooms but can also be served in residents' rooms. At mealtimes our chefs prepare a selection of delicious and highly nutritious home cooked dishes. Fresh cakes are served at tea time, and refreshments are available at all times. Special dietary needs will always be met. We emphasize the importance of good nutrition and take great pride in the quality and variety of the meals that we serve.

"The Staff are very friendly and caring. They always have a smile and can't do enough for you.

They have given me my mother back, rather than an old lady left to lie in bed all day and do nothing.

I cannot recommend the home highly enough. (CP)

This week we are going to be busy baking jam tarts and chocolate crispies for tea.

We will be enjoying some ball games, armchair dancing and having fun with wordgames.

How do we feel when we smell roses and other evocative aromas ?

Our artwork will be creating pictures of the sea with coloured dots.

We will be remembering the music of the '50s and singing along to some pop songs of the day.

Our very popular visiting musician Nina will be here to entertain us.
